Abstract: Three waterfront estates in Brick, New Jersey, have come onto the market for a whopping $25 million, the most expensive property in the state.

These giant adjoining mansions are situated on 2 acres of land along the Metric River.

The properties are all maintained by the same housekeepers and gardeners and you can access each home from within the park-like grounds.

While each of these mansions is spacious, the size of the homes varies somewhat.

417 Princeton Avenue has 6,000 square feet.

419 Princeton Avenue has 9,000 square feet.

423 Princeton Avenue has almost 12,000 square feet and is the largest of these three houses. It took three years to build and was completed in 2009. It is considered to be the main residence of the property.

The owners of 423 Princeton Ave. purchased the two neighbouring houses because they had been available for many years so more families could move in, Cecchini said.

Each house has spectacular luxury finishes and a custom pool overlooking the river.

The family has decided to offer the three homes as a portfolio and has done a great deal of marketing to specifically target clients who are looking for a home of this prestige.

The property at 423 Princeton Ave. is also listed separately. Last month, the home's price was reduced from $8.5 million to $7,999,900.

The six-bedroom home features polished travertine floors, Roman columns, a mahogany staircase, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and custom fireplace ceilings.

The European-style kitchen boasts a huge centre island with a prep sink, marble countertops, custom cabinetry and a honey ebony backsplash.

The lower level entertainment room includes a bar and fireplace.

The design of the residence is reminiscent of a French chateau with ornate balconies overlooking a two-tiered pool.

You can enjoy the river views from a patio made of limestone imported from Jerusalem.

Or take a dip in the pool, which has a high overflow spa with a negative pressure rim.

Earlier this year, the sellers added a covered outdoor kitchen and bar.

This resort-style oasis also features a pool cabana with a full bathroom and separate changing room.

The property has riverfront water rights and an extended dock and four-post lift.

This beautiful unusual property may need a very special buyer.
